For the comfort and safety of most of these patients, treatment is performed under medical sedation. It allows the full scope of procedures to be completed in a single session without stress or pain.
Due to insufficient daily hygiene and potential medical issues, teeth can deteriorate quickly. Advanced cavities may lead to infections that affect overall health and immunity. For this reason, sometimes it is better to extract a tooth or choose simpler methods to preserve its function rather than undertake complex and lengthy treatments.
